Wilson & Horton Holdings Ltd appoints Chairman and Deputy Chairman
Wilson & Horton Holdings Limited ("WHH") is pleased to announce that John H Maasland has been appointed Chairman and Sir Wilson J Whineray has been appointed Deputy Chairman of the company. The previous Chairman, Cameron O'Reilly will remain on the board.
Mr O'Reilly said the transition to the new management team in Wilson & Horton Limited under the able leadership of John Sanders is now complete. The company is trading well and it is now appropriate that a New Zealander should chair the board. "I am very pleased that John Maasland has agreed to take on the position of Chairman," Mr O'Reilly said.
John Maasland, previously Deputy Chairman of WHH, is a former chief executive of Wilson & Horton Limited, having managed the company through the ownership changes of recent years. He is a member of the International Advisory Board of Independent News & Media PLC, Chairman of the Airways Corporation and a director of Carter Holt Harvey.
The board would like to record its appreciation for the contribution that Cameron O'Reilly has made during his tenure as Chairman.
