Dublin/London, 12 July 2010 – APN News & Media Limited [ASX, NZX:APN], in which Independent News & Media PLC has a 32.2% shareholding, announced today that CEO, Brendan Hopkins, has advised that he wishes to leave the Company at the end of the year. Mr. Hopkins has been Chief Executive of APN since August 2002, having been seconded to that role by Independent News & Media PLC.
