Dr. BJ Hillery
Chairman

Dr. Hillery joined the Board of Independent News & Media PLC in 2003 and was appointed Non-Executive Chairman in 2004. He is also Chairman of both UniCredito Italiano Bank (Ireland) p.l.c. and Providence Resources P.l.c. and was an Executive Director of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development, London. He is a former member of Dáil Éireann and Seanad Éireann. Dr. Hillery ia a member of the National Pensions Reserve Fund Commission and is Professor Emeritus of the Graduate School of Business, UCD.
