Gavin O'Reilly

Gavin O'Reilly was appointed Group Chief Executive Officer of Independent News & Media PLC on 7 May 2009, having been Chief Operating Officer of the Group since 2001. He was previously Managing Director of Independent Newspapers (Ireland) Limited. He is Chairman of APN News & Media Limited, a Director of Jagran Prakashan Limited (India) and a Director of PT Abdi Bangsa (Indonesia). He joined the Board of the Group in 1997. He is President of the World Association of Newspapers.

Dónal Buggy
Chief Financial Officer

Dónal Buggy is a chartered accountant and was appointed to the Board of Independent News & Media PLC in 2002 as Chief Financial Officer. He was Group Financial Controller since he joined the Group in 1996 from PricewaterhouseCoopers. He is also a Director of News & Media NZ Limited and APN News & Media Limited.

Vincent Crowley
Group Chief Operating Officer

Vincent Crowley was appointed Group Chief Operating Officer on 13 November 2009. Previously he was Chief Executive of Independent News & Media - Ireland, Finance Director, and later Chief Executive, of APN News & Media Limited. A chartered accountant, he joined the Group in 1990 and became a Director of the Group in 1997.

Chief Executive - South Africa

Tony Howard was appointed Chief Executive of Independent News & Media (South Africa) (Pty) Limited in 2002.
